The Technology Finance Governance Business Senior Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical or financial strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • The individual will sit in the Financial Governance team supporting US Personal Bank / Wealth / Infrastructure Technology leadership in their planning, definition and execution of service costing, pricing and billing strategy.
  • The position requires a candidate with general management skills, leadership abilities and administrative experience, who can manage and lead a variety of activities geared at helping global technology and business organizations in strategic decision making by providing data insights and solutions to all regions and lines of businesses. This includes building ties with other business teams.
  • The Business Sr. Lead Analyst will ensure that data is summarized from across the business to provide critical information to executive team
  • Develop, coordinate and enhance exiting processes (e.g. transfer pricing processes) and review results against plans monthly in support of US Personal Bank / Wealth / Infrastructure Technology
  • Partner directly with various players across decision management groups, analyze data and evaluate multiple sources to develop recommendations on high-priority strategic initiatives and partner programs
  • Partner with estate management and the business execution teams to drive down stranded costs, help achieve productivity and expense challenge goals.
  • Formulate and shepherd cross-franchise initiatives and programs from conception to completion
  • Help to manage executable strategies, partnering across the organization
  • Establish best practices and principles for the decision management organization globally
  • Financial control - In conjunction with the team - understands the complexities of the department Profit and Loss (P&L); appropriate accruals, client allocations in order to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Program/Project Management - Help provide oversight of the Business Critical Milestone Reporting process and various other executive / client / management reporting processes. Ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy throughout the reporting process.
  • Communication - Work with the team and respective Decision Management leaders on the communication strategy (e.g. town halls, new hire events) for the department and facilitate the development of communication materials and presentations for senior management and other key stakeholders as required
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ experience in global and complex settings with multiple stake holders
  • Prior work experience in area related to analytics and/or strategy consulting
  • Ability to work in a team of diverse skill
  • Proficiency with Office productivity tools especially PowerPoint for management presentations and Excel and other data analytical tools. Has confidence with analyzing data and producing reports, metrics, and presentations.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
