Position Summary
The U.S. Personal Bank (USPB) delivers a wide array of banking, payments, lending and investment services to individual consumers and small businesses. To deliver on our brand promise, we must operate as a truly client-centric organization, driving a high tech, high touch experience for the full Citi relationship, particularly in the U.S. To do so, we have aligned our structure with our strategy to ensure we win in the U.S., our largest market, and drive greater client-centricity across product, segment, and geography.
The Head of Business Execution & Strategic Initiatives for USPB Marketing & Franchise Development is currently seeking a candidate to support strategic initiatives for the U.S. Personal Bank. This role will serve as a strategic thought partner on helping drive overall organizational strategy, serve as the primary lead on select initiatives, and succinctly articulate performance vision and outcomes to senior leadership, in close partnership with Marketing Chief of Staff office.
Responsibilities
Drive cross-consumer strategic initiatives such as new revenue transformation/optimization opportunities, client & segment growth as well as other top-down initiatives. Lead projects across their lifecycle: identifying and structuring the problem, analyzing root causes, developing solutions and business case, communicating project results, and obtaining buy-in for change.
Shape analysis of markets, competitors and customers using internal and external (quantitative and qualitative resources) as well as translate to actionable insights.
Build senior leadership presentations (including conducting ad-hoc analysis), to tell a cohesive story of the problem, analysis, insights, solutions, and execution plan.
Routinely support the organization on senior leadership requests and business management routines such as Business Reviews, Strategic Planning, Offsite, etc.
Partner closely with marketing, product, analytics, etc. to define strategic approach, shape solutions, and develop and coordinate an implementation plan of proposed solutions.
Lead and co-ordinate development of organization priorities, core KPIs, and key milestones to track organizational vision and success.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members, especially on strategic analysis, insights & trends.
Efficiently solve complex, ambiguous problems/situations and add value beyond the scope of formal projects.
Multi-tasks productively and reliably, while managing conflicting priorities.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
6-10 years experience in financial services.
Strategy consulting experience or internal strategic expertise at a large corporation.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with ability to partner effectively with various seniority levels within the organization and influence key decisions.
Ability to synthesize information, problem solve, prioritize business goals, and drive results with a high sense of urgency.
Outstanding analytical and quantitative capabilities; history of academic and professional excellence and achievement.
Creative and independent thinker, self-starter, and self-learner with comfort around driving results in ambiguous situations.
Highly motivated and with enthusiasm for Financial Services industry and desire to master the business.
Sound working knowledge of financial modeling and can analyze financial statements. Highly proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required in business or finance-related study, Master’s degree preference

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$142,320.00 - $213,480.00
