The Treasury Sales Consultant is responsible for managing and actively pursuing treasury opportunities - by deepening existing and winning new client relationships. This role will focus primarily on Emerging Corporate clients with revenues/budgets between $20 million to $100 million within Citi's Consumer Industry vertical. The coverage territory will primarily be the northeast and mid-Atlantic regions.

The Treasury Sales Consultant works closely with several partners such as Relationship Managers (RMs), Treasury Sales Analysts, Credit Officers, FX Trade Advisors, Working Capital Specialists, Trade Advisors, and others across the firm to provide domestic and International treasury solutions that best suit clients' needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for actively calling on clients and prospective clients in partnership with RMs to deepen relationships: proactively owning, responding to and anticipating future needs, challenges or risks aligned with Citi’s value proposition.
  • Drives innovation on the solutions we provide clients while structuring deals to balance risk and reward.
  • Serves as strategic advisor to RM and Client
  • Shares knowledge with other sales consultants and junior staff
  • Executes on strategic initiatives
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies / guidelines at all time
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years commercial banking experience
  • Undergraduate business degree
  • Proven track record of supporting the growth of client relationships


Education:

  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
